Contradicting evaluation note Topic

So I did some scouting trips on a recruit and on every evaluation that made mention of his defensive knowledge I got this response:

Defensively, they played mostly a halfcourt press/ZONE. Really knew what he was doing out there - seemed like he was a step ahead of everyone else in terms of knowing where to be and what to expect when they ran MAN to MAN. Sharp kid. Nothing remarkable about his knowledge of the press.

So which is it, is he playing zone or M2M? This recruit is a juco player, could it be that his high school played M2M and his knowledge carried over? I sent a ticket to CS but the first respone wasn't very helpful, want to see if anybody here has gotten a similar response.

This one pops up every so often. It has been around since they brought in combo defenses. I brought it to their attention way back then and was told that it was a mistake (duh, do ya think) and they would fix it. I think it's about number 8,642 on their list of things to fix. The defense referred to is Zone.

Thanks. CS actually responded a second time and told me "There is no typo." So they want me to believe that he somehow plays these 2 defenses but has amazing knowledge about M2M and on top of that my assistant coach makes no mention about how his zone knowledge is despite watching him play zone 10 times.
