I play mostly progressives w/ below average AAA but I am seeing guys with .350 batting averages. I haven't really looked at the #s yet but it feels a bit out of whack.

Last month it seemed like the AAA was a big help in open leagues. 1 or 2 players on every team were very helpful. In the last few weeks, they seemed to have leveled off. AAA pitchers still suck.

I'm noticing the same thing. I also seem to be getting a lot better below average AAA guys lately (after identifying). There seems to be a lot more F stamina guys around the 1.5 mil mark (which usually make for above average platooon players).

I wonder if they are being normalized right...

Zubinsum's law of AAA quality:

The quality of your AAA players (performance) is porportional to the relative quality of your team.

That is, AAA player do the best on teams you need it the least.

Should I be writing this down?

I haven't seen anything to suggest that my AAA are being normalized improperly.

.392/.535/.542 (202 PA) 5HR, 35RBI, 7SB
.398/.430/.538 (100 PA) 1HR, 20RBI
.333/.458/.500 (144 PA) 4HR, 35RBI
.392/.454/.616 (141 PA) 2HR, 22RBI

Works out well, as my team really doesn't have a good DH. The AAA guys all rotate there and occasionally spell regulars at their position.

If you rest players in a blowout, AAA hitters will get inflated stats from facing mopup guys. I start my AAA more often against AAA and scrub pitching, further inflating their stats.

AAA hitters are better. they seem to have a higher price range than before the update. AAA pitchers are as bad as ever.
