Inspired by the ongoing debates between ashamael, ncmusician_7 and others, I've decided to post a challenge to anyone interested.

I'll donate a $10 gift card (a free team) to the first owner who can win a title in a $42 million Open League with a team that has less than 250 three-pointers (as drafted).

To earn the gift card you have to:

- First announce your intention to try for it by copying your roster into this thread, along with the number of the open league you've entered.

- Copy the official WIS notification of your title into this thread (including the date and documentation of the league number).

- Be willing to answer reasonable questions about the league and your team's performance in it from any interested minds following this thread. (Ex. - Which current members of the Top 25 are also competing in that league?)

Further stipulations of this challenge:

- This challenge will remain open to the first winner for three months.

- The challenge becomes void if WIS makes significant changes to the sim during that three-month period.

- You cannot use the waiver wire to make in-season adjustments to your squad. Whoever you draft is who you have to run with.

Them's the rules of the road. Anything I've missed that would be good to add? Anyone willing to give it a try?

Yes, 250 made 3's - and again, that's as drafted, recognizing that the number could rise or fall during the regular season depending on game strategy and the particularities of opposing rosters and strategies.

No minute minimum, as far as I'm concerned.

this is very interesting. Maybe nc will do this since he could win two free teams (yours and the gc credits). I might try, but I have no intention of joining another OL until I have a few more leagues finish.

I'm working on a first attempt myself (not that I'm the likeliest person to succeed at this challenge). I'll post the roster and league number here pretty soon.

sly, it's such a mess that I don't think I have time to try today. I'm hoping gerry can rematerialize and clean it up a bit. If not, I may be able to take a crack at it sometime this weekend.
