I imagine this has been discussed several times before, but it is my understanding that each class can not have more than 6 or 7 players (sorry don't remember the exact amount). However, I ran across a team that has 9 sophomores. Did I misinterpret the rule?

Class limits do not apply to sim coached teams.

so what happens if one takes over said team and all nine players graduate

can you only sign six players? will you have the recruiting budget for nine scholarships?

You will only get the budget for 6. I took over a team with 12 open scholarships once... That was a highly entertaining recruiting period.
