My D3 PF Logan Villalpando has a Shot Blocking Rating of 94 and an athleticism rating of 71. Both are exceptional for a D3 player, yet he doesn't block shots. Despite good minutes and good IQ as a junior, he is not even averaging a block per game. Why doesn't he block shots?

You can try moving him to center. I did that with Ronald Sharon on my team he has your guy by 2 inches but your guy has him i think by almost 10 in shot blocking and he's quicker then sharon.

My C is already very good and this guy has a per of 40, which would be wasted at PF(Edit: Center). He takes a lot of jump shots (not a lot of 3s tho). What do you think my starting lineup should be if I were to switch Villalpando to C?

Why do you think PER is wasted at PF? PER is not only three pointers. THink Patrick Ewing.


ANd YOu are playing press, which contributes. Block is most effective in ZOne.

When i said PF i meant to say C...my bad...what I have heard is per has no affect on C's but it does have an affect on PF's.

I have found that blocked shots are minimal in a pressing team. Focus on ATH and SPD instead of DEF and SB

Height means nothing. It is already included in the ratings.

I got this PF because he is decently fast and extremely athletic for a PF. The SB was just a bonus. It just made me wonder about the factors in shot blocking.

A lot of times press defenses dont get a lot of blocks.

Not true. Perimeter has an effect on both actually.

My 2nd ever triple double tonight since season 29 when i started playing the sim. Ronald Sharon 12 points, 12 rebounds, 10 blocks.
