Do you usually use a pitcher at each role? I usually only have six pitchers in my pen, and I don't use a closer, so should I be doing what's stated here?

no, you dont need a closer if you want to run a bullpen by committee. However, if there is one guy there you dont want closing out games, dont be upset if Simmy brings him in to close when noone was designated as the closer.

I usually don't do that. My bullpen right now consists of no LH/RH specialists, no Setup B, no Closer B, and no Mopup, and at the All-Star break my team is 69-22 and my team ERA is 3.23, so I'd like to believe I'm doing something right.

I'm willing to bet its more due to the quality of your pitchers than how your bullpen is set up ;)

Haha without question, but at the same time, I guess what I was trying to say was that there's no need to worry about filling every slot, because as long as you have quality pitchers they'll do their job.

LH and RH specialists are not used enough to justify a roll. Other threads talk about how ineffective those rolls are. And I think Mopup and Closer B are optional and depend on your particular bullpen talent and preferences.
