Hello Gentlemen,

I've tried to get this league going under many different guises and I don't know why I never used this term/league name before because I think it fits perfectly.

RULES

-Choose 2 exclusive team seasons (i.e. 1989 Pistons and 1986 Celtics) on a first come, first served basis and create a team using a 52 mil cap. Be sure to list your teams records so I can verify and compute your overall team percentage.

-Name your team accordingly, so if you chose the Pistons-Celtics that I used in the above example, they could either be the 8986 Detroit Celtics or the 8689 Boston Pistons. If you use an LA team or a 76-77 NY team, be sure to put the nickname initial in the first name, so if you went with the 1977 Knicks and 1984 Lakers, you would either go 7784 New York K (or NYK) Lakers or 8477 Los Angeles L (or LAL) Knicks...make sense?

-The goal here is to do more with less, or to utterly dominate with a great combo of teams. I will be BPI ranking the season and both your "PERCENTAGE" and your opponent's "PERCENTAGE" will be factored in every game played (something I've never done before) and the team that ends up with the best BPI ranking at the end of the regular season will get a $10 GC from me. Thus if you choose the 9697 Chicago Bulls (combined 860 percentage) and lose to the 7393 Philadelphia Mavericks (combined 122 percentage), that will be a terribly bad loss and conversely, it would be an epic win for the 7393 team.

-No ww, ABA, or rookies. Clones are allowed if they apply...i.e. if you chose the 96 and 97 Bulls, you could/would use 2 Jordans, 2 Pippens, 2 Rodmans, etc.

Any comments, questions, suggestions, etc....please post away. I've got the itch to do this again, all while testing a new BPI format with a reward for my players. Thanks, peace.

Thanks libby, though it doesn't look like this is going to take off. Just curious why others aren't joining.

probably because libby just took the league winner with those two powerhouses haha

i like the idea...ive never seen a league done with a ranking like this....could be fun...could be stupid...most people probably dont want to pay 10 bucks to find out

sign me up...im not going to bother looking for teams to pick until i see that it has a chance to fill

The problem is that the $52M cap is too high for there to be 24 competitive teams.

I was kinda thinking the same thing as NC. Even $47 might work better.

I'm in. I'll pick teams later. And for what it's worth I think a $42 or a $47 would work better for this league.
