that is odd. I have been having a similar problem with the sim using my starting pitchers to PH even though I have guys on the bench that haven't been used, as well as filling in every single slot in my PH hierarchy. It is quite annoying. God forbid anyone of my SP's get hurt in a PH, I'd be PI$$ED

I think I figured it out, though it does point out another problem.

All of the AL's position players were in the game as of the fifth inning. So there was nobody on the bench by the 6th, when my SP came in to PH. I also notice that another SP (Damaso Lopez) was used as a PH for the AL in the 8th.

The new problem I'm seeing is that two of the guys selected as AL position players were on the DL, so the AL roster was actually two players short. Seems that these guys should be "honored" as All-Stars if their performance merited it, but as they would do in real life, there should have been two alternates named to take their place on the roster.
