Can someone attempt to explain this?

My team is CLEARLY superior to the SIM AI coached opponent with 5! walkons...we double them up on the boards and lose by 3...needless to say, I'm extremely ******.

Man, That's a bad loss. Good coaching job by the simai heh. Why didnt you run uptempo to tire that team out.

You played a team with only seven scholarship players and didn't run uptempo?

You see how often they take 3p's but didn't play a + defense?

You destroyed them on the boards, as you should've. But your team isn't very good, and you have terrible ft shooting (8-19 from the line also helped lose that game for you).

So, in short, you don't have a ton of talent, you punished them where expected, and if you'd done a good job coaching (i.e. uptempo and a + defense), you would've certainly won.

Dude, I shouldn't have to make coaching adjustments to beat a team that 80 OTR less than me and has 5 walk-ons...remember what I've been saying about expectations? Their frigging PE and LP number are extremely poor and they shoot 49% compared tom my 41.something%...unreal I should have been able to sit all my starters and won that game, this is absolute crap.

Colonels you should join one of the conferences in Wooden D3 like the upstate or NAC or one of the other tough conference to test out your coaching skill or to watch other coaches play tough competition maybe use some on how they recruit and how coach to maybe help you out some more with your armstrong team. There is no reason you should be losing to simais with only 7 scholies filled by 3.

Agreed, but I shouldn't have to make coaching changes to beat said team either...

Im not the greatest coach by any means but you can learn things from how different coaches run their programs.

If they dont have the depth you do if you play a normal pace keeping them in the game for 40 minutes there's a shot they are going to win if you run uptempo for 40 minutes forcing them to foul out guys you would blow them out cause they would be force to put walkons in the game for several minutes.

Really? Why not? Why would you not put your best gameplan out there, and why should it not increase your chances of getting beat if you do a ****** job coaching?

For you not to have gone uptempo vs. a team with only seven scholarship players ... you need to look inward. That's an embarrassing rookie mistake.

Because my team was so much better than my opponent that I could have run motion-zone and should have won the game easily. The talent difference was friggin enormous! The bottom line is, the gameplan I trotted out there should have easily torched that team by double digits...EASILY.

Also, can someone tell me why PBPs don't generate for sim v. sim games? I tried looking at the Montevallo-West Georgia game (where a worse West Georgia team killed Montevallo) and it says no PBP generated...?

Let's look at the actual facts:

-The average rating of your scholarship players was 39 pts better than the other team's.

-Then add in their home court advantage.

-Then add in the fact that you have an abysmal ft shooting team, and they have a very good ft shooting team.

-Then add in the fact that you put together a terrible game plan.

Doesn't seem so odd that they would beat you.

Sorry, but I'm not letting you off the hook. You lost this game because you did a terrible coaching job.
