HBD Newbie in Need of Mentor/Co-Manager Topic

Jersey World, Texas Lone Stars -- I am newbie and am overwhelmed by needed roster moves, FA bidding, and coach bidding. Mainly having hard time figuring a means for managing all the information and the WHY for certain needed moves. Have GD teams, but willing to share log-in for someone to help with the moves.

This appears to be a stable league with dedicated owners, and the team looks (in my limited appreciation) to be a fairly good franchise. Dont want to abandon or trash franchise because of inability to manage all the information.

There is a list of members under mentors in this forum that will be glad to help you out. Pick one and I am sure they will help you.

or pick 2 or 3...and see each point of view they give you. I was told to always get more than 1 "mentor"

Depends on the mentor, a good one will explain all points of view.

I would recommend against having someone actually make moves for you...how will you learn if someone else Does it?

On another note, when I first started I looked up a mentor from the mentor post, reached out to him, and he helped m tremendously. Also the Things we learned in Aaron/Ruth thread is helpful if outdated. WKRP Radio (redbuilding a disaster) can provide some insight into how some people evaluate their squads. I would find something or someone that you are comfortable with and kind of feel it out yourself with guidance, as opposed to co-management.

I only have a 9 seasons under my belt but I'd be happy to talk with you about the things I've learned so far.
