Spreadsheet Posting Assistance Topic

Could someone provide me some tips on how to post a spreadsheet to these forums? I have never been able to figure out how to do it without it getting messed up or cut off.

I use IE, but would it help to use Foxfire or Safari?

Would it help if I upload it to the internet then import it into the forum? I don't want to post a limk to it. i want you to be able to see it when you pull up the forum.

You can post out of excel if your number of rows and columns are limited.

Well I've seen people post very large spreadsheets before.

Here's what you need to do to post large spreadsheets...

There might be an easier way than this as I'm not an expert.

The basic idea here is that you make the spreadsheet become a picture...

1) copy the area of the spreadsheet you want to post
2) paste that into a paint program - basically you need to save it as a .jpeg file (I believe .bmp or .gif would work as well) - I use a program called Irfanview but I believe MS paint should work as well
3) download the .jpeg file to an internet image hosting site - like a photobucket or something similar
4) that should produce an http:// address for your "picture"
5) come back into the forums - click on the camera - paste the http:// address in the pop-up box
6) hit post reply

It works better for me using IE as opposed to Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, etc.

Thanks zizzo, I'll give that a try. One think I have experienced is that when I take my copied spreadsheet and turn it into a jpeg I have seen a loss of quality. For example there would be a line missing or a number that can't be read that well and the such. Maybe it is because I have used paint which is a low-end program.
