Just got a message stating "Jose Rijo is out for season".

Now, usually, those messages are "Jose Rijo is out 6-12 months" or some numerical time frame.

Jose is out 360 days, it's game ~145 of the season and he's at AAA. And it looks like he's gonna miss all of NEXT season - maybe that's why the different message? Or is this something people have seen before?

have seen it before as well. that's a really unfortunate injury. and man i like jose rijo.

110 days go by in the offseason. Plus, a handful of days tick off before spring training starts. That is a hell of an injury though.

Didn't that actually happen to the real life Jose Rijo? I seem to remember an earth shattering injury or something back then. I was on the young side so I may be thinking of Rob Dibble.

I got the same message for my best pitcher this season. Out 365 days and he has a player option next season for 20 Mill.
