i hope you will all consider picking up a team in the mighty GLV conference of Tark. there are 2 openings, both C+ schools, both with a pretty solid cast of returning players (both had human coaches at least the last 4 seasons).

come help make the GLV the best conference in HD history! we are not all that far off, this year featured -
the champ
the runner up
a third final 4 team
the top 3 teams by rpi
lowest rpi in conference of 122

While this may be our most impressive season, it is by no means a fluke. It was probably only 5 seasons ago or so we had the top 3 teams by rpi. It was only about 10 seasons ago we had an all GLV NT final. About every other season, the GLV puts up a list of accomplishments most conferences could only dream of.

Also, I run a mentoring program there, which means I give general advice to everybody and also will answer an unlimited number of questions, and will give as much help as you want with any of your teams, no matter the world or division. With the new engine coming out, it will be a new challenge for everybody. Why not get ahead by competing in an ultra-competitive conference, with some advice from a proven coach whose success came largely from how quickly he was able to adapt to the potential era changes?


I recently ran some numbers on conferences, based on the team dynasty rankings I did several months ago. According to them, the GLV's current 20 year run is the greatest d2 conf run of all time (of 20 year runs, at least). Well, while I think that is awesome, I won't be satisfied until the GLV wins every d2 tark title, until we put 12 teams in the post season, until we are the top conference in the history of HD. Come be a part of the GLV now!

You neglected the most vital piece of information, that you will have more money to recruit here than in any other conference out there.

..and while he's at it, i'll mention that they are by far the #1 conference in d2 tark, and we're trying to make a splash to challenge them in the mid-american conference. we were the #2 conference 3 of the last 4 years, i believe, and are still on the rise. we have 3 coaches on the West side of the conference alone that routinely have A+ level prestiges in the other worlds they are in. in a few seasons i would imagine that we will boast a handful of top 25 teams just as they do.

although our results in the postseason haven't been anywhere near the GLV's, i anticipate that it'll be a ton of fun trying to overtake them (three seasons ago we were even the #1 conference ahead of them... in their defense, they were down that year) and im not going to leave SW Baptist until Mid-America > GLV !

edit: we have two openings, one rebuild and another B- prestige team with all human recruited players which returns all but two players from last season's team.

if people couldn't figure this out by the fact that we had 3 of the final 4 teams and the lowest rpi in our conf was 122, well, then i don't want them in the GLV anyway ;)
