FUTURE STARS SCOUTING Topic

What exactly is the advantage of purchasing future stars scouting? Are these players you won't normally see?

You get to see the potential the recruits have in the states that you scout, and you get a discount on multiple states purchased.

It does not show you any new players but it shows how much improvement (or lack of improvement) a player will have. It is very important to know if a player will grow 25+ points or 0-5 points in a given skill.

It also gives hints about how the player 'leans' during the recruiting process.

it can be really important - a guy with mediocre ratings in key categories but high potential can end up great....while a guy who looks pretty good but is at or near his limits will be a dud

OK thanks. I wasn't around when they put this in .

I see the scouting system doesn't let you put it on the sleeve!!

you must not recruit without using it. Doing so will make you suck.

And yet, for those of us who just decided to give HD a shot with the new "try it out" promotion/discount, we cannot access it without first purchasing an additional season at the full price.

So we're going to suck.

And hate HD.

And not continue to play.

Interesting marketing strategy...

the better way to market would have been a two seasons for the price of one marketing strategy - with the FSS available - but you can do that yourself - go ahead - pay for one season - two seasons will be a better test - and it amounts to a two for one offer

I signed up with a free code, and I was able to use FSS.

If your team's success relies on the FR you are currently recruiting, then you are going to suck whether you use FSS or not.

If you are after jr or sr jucos you can get by w/o fss

FYI, put it on the sleeve means charge it.

it makes sense if you think about the relative ease with which one can create an alias. Someone could get a couple of discounted first seasons on various accounts, cut players, get the potential for every player in the country and then use their primary team to recruit the high-potential guys without actually spending the money to scout the players. By making this rule, it becomes much more expensive for an owner to employ this strategy
