I also believe fouls may prove to be a little high... however... in response to the original posters example... at one time I had 8 teams over 3 accounts... all eight to the team finished their seasons making more ft's than our opponents shot. I would be willing to bet that over a 3 year period I didn't have a team that didn't make more FT's than my opponents shot.

Real life doesn't count. Ask COlonels.

Real life doesn't automatically justify everything....that's my point

Just because it happens 1 time in real life doesn't mean it should have carte blanche to happen as many times as it wants per se in HD.

I know that in the past (pre-Seble), HD tracked statistics like fouls on FGAs and compared them to real-life D1. They have always strived for realism in that, to make sure there aren't too many fouls on 3-pointers and such.

Whether or not they're still striving for it is unknown.

No> YOu instantly reject ANY mention of real life examples. YOu say 'That should N E V E R happen. Then when someone shows that it HAS in fact happened, you immediately reject the example. If someone gave you two, you would want four. If they gave you four, you would want right. .and so on.

TO turn your little game around on you, how many real life examples would make a result acceptable to you? Give me a number, or you are just dodging the question/.

Oh really?

THis is extremely amusing.

SO you are saying you were wrong in the thread of complaints about 'just one game'?

Either you were wrong there or you are wrong here.

Yeah, get this, I'm throwing what you said to me, back in your face...I figured you'd realize that...guess not...

No, your answer is actually vaslid. Its not a specific number.

However, if it has happened even once, it flatly ISN'T impossible. If it has happaned multiple times, then it REALLY isn't impossible. Especially when you consider how many years worth of games are constantly played.
5/28/2010 9:17 PM
Repeating myself yet again...I expect that ANYTHING can happen in a real life game...I don't and shouldn't have that same expectation for HD because nothing is more random than real life...again, not saying anything that I haven't before...my argument(s) are and have been consistent since day 1. Real life has practically no boundaries...HD does.

Yes, a very convenient position where you can claim anything you don't like is unjustified and reject any evidence whatsoever to the contrary out of hand,.
