Forgot to renew and lost my franchise Topic

I just got back from not being able to really check on things (world was in playoffs and I had been knocked out) and found that I missed the renewal period and now someone claimed my franchise.

Is there any way for me to get it back? I have been in the world (Canseco) for all of its 8 seasons and with this franchise throughout (you don't see it on my profile as I was using someone else's when I started playing HBD). Damn it, I feel really bad about this and sad that I let myself lose this team that I finally built into something respectable.
