So I'm confused on my franchise payroll analysis and need some help. When I look at the Franchise Payroll Analysis screen, it shows the following:

Salary Adjustments Total
85,894,00 -10,729,000 75,165,000

But when I go to negotiate with a free agent, it says that I am using 86million of my payroll already? What are the "adjustments" section above? It looks like it's attributed to people who I did not pick up options on, but it's showing up on my payroll? Did I do something stupid and newbish? Thanks!

The adjustments appear to be guys who your franchise originally had under contract, but who were waived are are now being paid by another franchise.

And the $75m you are seeing in salary above is only your major league payroll. Looks like you've got another $11m tied up on players under contract in your minors or unassigned.
