If you look at my team, you'll notice that Derrick Whittle is listed twelfth. Usually, he's listed tenth (between Mathewson and Whalen,) but last night he had a minor ankle sprain (he's at 90% right now) and apparently that's enough to drop him to the bottom where walkons go.

i would think that he would be listed last as he is.

i thought they listed all the PGs alphabetically, then he SGs, etc. based on that he would be last.... right?

I keep pretty detailed records, and it's been Wood-Thompson-Mathewson-Whittle-Whalen-Valencia all year.

In terms of player ID no, Whittle is 1557630... Thomp is 631, Whalen 632, Valencia 633.

There's more (or less) to it than alphabetization - look at your own team and explain why Plyler's ahead of Brown. It's pretty tough to do.

I played a team last season, I think they were a SIM. Their starting PG was at the bottom of the list, after the centers

Looks to me like they are sorted like this:

1 - Position
2 - Class
3 - Overall Score

So it would go like this:

PG SR 600
PG JR 610
PG JR 450
PG SO 500

Did your player's overall score go down when he got injured?

EDIT: Nope, that's not it either. The3rd thing is not overall score or alphabetical first (or last) name.

It's possible that there is no 3rd criteria for the sorting. In such a case the database will return the data in whatever order it feels like. For some databases, this will be a consistent order unless something changes the way the records are stored; e.g. restoring a table from backup.

Just had this happen again, but this time it's three changes with no injuries.
Micah Hurst is now listed first, Warf second;
Javier Valencia is moved to the 10-slot;
Chris Thompson and Dennis Wood have switched.

Looks like there's no longer any code implying that our players will be listed in the same order from game to game - I'm sending a ticket.

when i looked at mine it seemed like it as player ID # as the 3rd thing. I didnt find anything to contradict that. but obviously there is something else going on.

anyone notice that sometimes the grade report order matches and sometimes it doesnt match the team page order?

Previously there was no sort beyond position and class. I added last name as a third sort to ensure they stay in position. Unless you have two guys in the same class at the same position with the same last name, which should be pretty rare.
