I'm a low D1 school and I want to pull down a 4 star recruit that is currently considering a high D1 school who would smoke me in a recruiting battle if we got in one. However, he's "wide open to offers" and the other school has more recruits considering him than he has open schollys (the other recruits are *very tight*), so I'm thinking this guy is gonna not be signed at signing time. I've already gotten the backup message from the recruit, so here's my question. Can I pull him down now? Or is that not possible as long as he is considering the higher prestige school?
