I'm a D3 school with A+ prestige. The recruit is in-state, about 300 miles away. He rejected my phone call, which I know should have deterred me, but I screwed up and scheduled 5 scouting visits in the same cycle. I also scheduled an in-home visit, which he accepted (which surprised me), and then gave me the following feedback:
"Coach, thanks for the visit. I think my family and I learned a lot about Finlandia, but it's not a good fit for me right now. Sorry it didn't work out. Thanks again."
Does the fact that he accepted the visit and gave me the above feedback mean that I have a chance to pull him down if I follow up with a few more scouting trips? Or do neither of these mean anything considering he rejected the phone call?
Thanks!
