I get the complaint on two conference mates facing each other in the PIT, but I happen to be a big fan of the new engine.

you know....when you actually find a problem with the game, you shouldn't hide it between 4 paragraphs of tears

On your issue No. 1, I'm not really seeing that as a problem, especially since we don't know additional information like SOS, where the conf. ranks in RPI, etc.. An RPI of 45 is not a lock for the real-world NCAA unless it comes from a power conference. There's plenty of recent examples of RPI teams in the 30s and 40s being bypassed due to SOS concerns and/or record vs. Top 50 (and below 150) RPI schools. Conference tournament champs from lower-tier conf's always eat bracket slots that, if you seeded straight off the RPI, they shouldn't have.

Does it suck when you think you should be dancing and instead find yourself NIT-picked...heck yeah, but that's the reality and beauty of the post-season (both real and WIS). Don't like it? Don't leave it in the hands of the selection committee.

WIS has a policy that teams from the same conference can't be in the same region unless 5+ quality.   If less than 5, they're supposed to be in different regions.

You're correct, rednu. The other team in question (SIU) had no business making the NT. They had a very borderline RPI (45) and went 0-7 vs. NT teams. No way should they have gotten in.

Of course he's correct in that two teams from the same conference should absolutely not be matched up against one another, but imho the reaction is blown out of proportion.

Damage ISN'T done - CS has actually changed the seeding!  Now Bradley is facing 1-seed Oklahoma, while SIU gets 8-seed Connecticut.

Well done to CS on a quick resolution.
