Do a players previous year's stats have any bearing on possible future performance? When evaluating a possible career move do you look at returning players numbers or PER (Hollister's) or anything to evaluate the job?

i think future performance is purely a function of player ratings, player iq's, opponents and your coaching style. so, in a word, nope.
