If by "we" you mean the most prolific HBD forum posters who have little to no experience with LIVE and so have little idea what they are talking about, you are correct.

If by "we" you intended to include the majority of experienced HBD owners who also have some experience with LIVE, then you are wrong.

Don't worry, as long as they set it up like they have with SimLeagues (and there's no reason to think they won't), it won't impact you other than the time it takes for you to complain about it in the forums.

So if some owners have more time and opportunity to play LIVE than do others, and they can perhaps manage a game, or at least their team, better than the sim engine can, that would not be a competitive advantage?  That would not screw up the integrity of a world?

Again, there shouldn't be (and there is no reason to think there will be)  LIVE in every World. Like with SimLeagues, the commish will determine whether LIVE is an option for a given World. Keep yourself out of LIVE Worlds and it won't concern you.

Please refer to the "Theme Worlds" suggestion thread.  ADMIN has stated that there never will be an HBD theme world.  Which tells me that it won't be an option for the commish to decide whether LIVE will be allowed or not.  It follows that if/when LIVE comes to fruition, it will be available in every world.  Which, in my opinion, will be a bad thing for HBD.

Please read the "Theme Worlds" suggestion thread. Even assuming LIVE is considered a "theme", in that thread, a sliding scale was suggested, whereby owners pay different amounts in real money to have different HBD payrolls. That is what Admin has said will never happen.

LIVE is something that already exists, in SimLeagues. There, it is NOT available in every League. Your fears that it will be done completely differently in HBD are unfounded.

SLB is coded differently than HBD.  You have themes in SLB which can be set by the commish.  LIVE, I assume, is one of the themes that can be set.

ADMIN has said, in the Theme Worlds suggestion thread, that there will be no changes to HBD to allow themes.  I take that as meaning that LIVE will not be an optional feature of HBD worlds.  If it's available for one, it's available for all.

I believe you're the one who may be a bit off-base here.
