So basically 1 am (central) recruiting will be happening more like... 3:30?

bad change - recruiting is the most important aspect of WIS and it should be on its 3 hour schedule prompt. Games can wait 10 minutes to sim, recruiting can't wait an hour.

This has always been the case. I remember a long time ago there was a 15 pageish debate on redshirt replies and cycle times. Everyone said it is 2/5/8/11 like recruiting, but I got one about 2 hours late - around 12:45 maybe 1 am ish. As it turned out, this is because that cycle is the special cycle. Games come first, everything else follows it.

This will take some getting used to. I liked knowing that at 2:02 I could see recruit responses. Now we have to keep checking back and see if they are there yet. This is better than waiting till 6 or 7AM for the overnight games to sim though, right?

Why does it have to be an either/or?

Recruit responses are out within a minute or two when the cycle ends. Why wouldn't they just run the recruit stuff, and then the games?

If this produces any kind of semi-significant delay to recruit responses/updates, then it was done poorly. Not the end of the world, mind you, just done poorly.

recruit stuff should run first, then games sim. this always worked in the past, why change it?

Exactly. I know many coaches (including myself) try to be awake (or wake up) for this cycle. So I could set my alarm for 1:15, be up and see my response and be back in bed by 1:30. Now there is no way that that can happen - you have to be up for the ENTIRE cycle, because who knows when it might sim.

Seble what is the purpose behind this? You switched the money per ship after realizing it was a mistake (or at least having someone tell you it was) Please do the same here this is a very bad change.

I agree with Zhawks, I let most changes ride out to see how they go, but recruiting cycles need to be at a set time. This maybe 2:02 AM maybe 2:45 maybe 3:15 is no good. I can check game results anytime in 24 hours, 12 in a 2 a day world; but recruiting needs a set schedule and time.

No, nothing has changed. People are just reading to much into it. Its why you get the message replies about a minute earlier in every other cycle, and occasionally some can be missed/delayed at the 11pm cycle.

I'd like to hear it from seble. Because I don't feel you are reading what he wrote correctly.

No, I read it. If I didn't know about how it worked before I'd be in the same boat as you guys are though. It has always been game first, everything else follows. Unless that changed to something more extreme then I see no issue with this cycle being a minute later then the rest, which has always been the case.

99% (probably more) of recruiting responses come within a couple minutes of the alloted time at the top of the hour. No idea what you're talking about.

2:33 and still no recruit responses for me.  Furry, care to change your opinion?
