Are the limitations still the same?  150ish ranking for SF's. 190's for big men.

No - you have to find the new limits.

You can pulldown div 2s in HD? I wish I knew this bc this isn't possible in GD and I didn't even try them.

I have seen some pulldowns in d2 where guys have pulled down top 150s big guys and PGs and top 130s SFs.

New engine or old?

The drop/pull downs are hugely different in the new engine. Nuff said. Make some calls.

There is a huge difference with the new engine.  In Allen, there is a d2 school with D+ prestige that pulled down the #95 ranked sg.  That shouldn't be possible.

New.  Those don't seem like the limits though.  I didn't go through everything.

EDIT: (Knight) Top two highest ranked C's pulled down- #123 by A+(prestige) and #131 by B, highest ranked PF pulled down-#130 by A-, highest ranked SF pulled down-#132 by A, highest ranked SG pulled down-#133 by A, highest ranked PGs pulled down-#113 and #117 by same A+ school.

Allen sure had one of the strangest set of recruits I've seen in my 40 seasons of D2.   With extremely high ranked recruits available to D2 teams.  A recruit ranked #100 signing with a D2 wasn't uncommon and some recruits ranked in the 80's went D2.

I even had the #58 PG (local) willing to talk with my A+ D2 team, but I didn't want to get caught in a battle with a low D1 sim.

I was able to get that 95 ranked sg, which i had no business even recruiting him. I just decided to call him and he said backup option, so i went after him. Other than that i don’t know.

Ahook, I'm glad you were able to do it because you're in my conference and I hope he kicks *** for you, but that shouldn't have happened.

We told seble during beta that this aspect of the game was screwed up, he was going to look at it and it was never addressed.

If a player has no interest from a D1 school, then why not let him investigate D2?   I don't think this is a problem

I think it makes the d2 aspect of the game much more interesting. Now we  have more opportunities to decide to compete with low d1 schools for recruits, and the number of battles in d2 has/should go up considering the value of good recruits. In my first rec. session in Allen with the new engine, I got poached to death for 3 different recruits 2 of which came from d1 schools. I realize there is no poaching, but I think the days of high prestige d2 schools droppping a couple of hvs and waiting for a recruit to sign with little worry of competition may be over.

On it's face, sure.

But in this instance, we're talking about a D+ DII school that was on him w. in the first 24 hours of recruiting. If you wanted to make a change after signings started and the guy still wasn't considering anyone, I could start to buy that. But as it is, it doesn't make sense.
