Scheduling at a power conference Topic

So I just took over the job at Baylor in the Big 12 in Smith. Not the greatest team right now and I'll probably get beaten around the first couple of years in conference, but I was wondering if you guys had some suggestions on what to schedule in the non-conference. Do you schedule for wins? High RPIs? A mixture? I'm not sure exactly what I want to do so I figured I'd ask you guys, since some of you have some experience with a crappy team in a power conference. Basically what's the best way to get some wins, but also have a respectable RPI to where I could get into a postseason tournament.

I did RPI- mainly mid mjaor teams that had been successful

it sounds easier than it is, but schedule the teams you think you can beat but also teams that will do well in their own conference.  i find a mix of 2-3 SIMs (on the road), 3-4 games against mid level human coaches, and maybe a couple against other big conference coaches who's teams you think you can beat.

Just look for users in mostly sim conferences, they will normally rack up a ton of wins but won't have that great of teams.
