this is my first season in HD... and i don't think i did a good job recruiting personally... i went with a lot of high potential guys (and wasted a lot of money i shouldn't have)...

anyway, knox won 3 games last year as a sim team, we're at 4 wins so far this year, so i guess an improvement.

i'm now about halfway through the season and i was curious what type of improvement i should expect from my players during the season?

In-season improvement is all about Work Ethic (WE) and average to green potentials in each category. The higher the work ethic, the more improvement. Your one shooting guard with 1 WE will probably never get much better. Did you recruit him at 1 or did he drop when you redshirted him? For starters, try to recruit guys with work ethics about 30. Also, athleticism is a very key attribute for nearly all positions. I see that your center is improving at it, but a baseline stat of 10 is just too low. Try to set your sights higher next recruiting cycle is all. And the reason you are losing so much, is purely because of the offense you run. Fastbreak can be very powerful, but you need the right players for it. High speed and athleticism for starters, as well as B to A knowledge of the fastbreak offense. Target faster, more athletic players, as well as good ballhandling in guards, and rebounding in big men. Recruiting takes many seasons to understand, but you'll get it.

Besides the 1 WE shooting guard, you did well in recruiting. especiallly for your first season. I really like that 75 REB center you have. He's not too athletic or a great scorer, but he's a solid player and will likely set some rebounding records at your school. Just keep giving him lots of minutes.

thanks. yea the guy dropped when I rs'd him. he never went back up. I actually plan on cutting him if he doesn't transfer or quit.

Well the redshirt caused that to happen. To fix it, all you had to do was remove it. You may be able to still do it, but I'm not sure. A
