~ Season 3 of the Ultimate Legends Progressive League ~
Lifetime Keeper League. Take Any player in MLB History. Players were drafted and able to start with their 1st ever $5 million+ season. BUT you must Keep 15 and Cut 10 Players each year. Cut Players become Free Agents & Progress Each Season to be available to be drafted each year. Each Season we have a 10 Round Draft of any Free Agents or Bring New Players not yet into the League. (We had about 50/50 last year's Draft). Cap is $140 to make it wok.
$140 Mil Cap
* No DH.
* 6/2 below average AAA for filler.
* Partial Seasons are allowed.
* 15 Keepers
* 40 Live games required for Playoffs.
* Trades OK- subject to standard League Veto.
* Allignment- Random every season. (to keep it fresh, we all get to play different teams and players)
* Team Names- Any you want.
* All Drafted Players can begin their League careers in either their first $5 million+ salaried season, or an earlier cheaper season if you prefer. (Also aplicable to Hitters/Starting Pitchers that don't have a $5 million Season. In these cases, you may choose any season to begin with, i.e.- Oscar Gamble.)
* “Born into the League” season. The season you choose to start your player's career will be the season that player will be officially "Born into the League" and progress 1 year in time as either a Rostered Player or a Free Agent until they retire in real life.
* Once a player retires in real life- (runs out of WIS Seasons) that player is retired and will forever be gone from the League. We'll have to find new players & draft new players into the League. We'll see a lot of 1 and 2 year wonders come and go. Yes, Koufax will have his good 6 year run and then retire.
* CURRENT MLB'ers that hit their WIS "end of the road" in (2010, 2111, 2212, 2013, ect.) when the past catches up to the future for such players as Tim Linsecum, Ubaldo Jimenez, Josh Hamilton, Prince Fielder, Ryan Howard, ect-- once they run out of WIS Seasons (say Linsecolm who has basically 2 seasons- 2008 & 2009, & 1010) you will have the option of using our 1 allotted Injured Reserve Slot or use one of your 15 Keeper slots to retain Linsecolm until he has a 2010 database season- or you can cut him and he'd be available again the next Draft that he has a database season.
