Need some help here.

I am looking to pull off a trade that will put me over budget the following season. As such, we are going to make it a two parter. The first trade would be me giving up the needed salary and the second trade would be for the player I want. My thought is that because the first trade freed up salary the following season the second trade would go through.

My question then is: Will the second trade be nullified because they were both accepted during the same cycle?
