I am looking at some recruits that look good in terms of their potential.  One is high in 7 categories (a lot of the right ones), however, he would come with a single digit WE.  I recruited a guy like this a few season back (before potential) and he never really progressed much at all.  He did okay the first couple seasons, but was quickly passed on the depth charts by younger guys.

Does anyone have experience with a similar recruit since potential was introduced and how did it work out?  Would you recruit a guy like this?

Not unless I was willing to deal with him as is for all four years.

Over 4 seasons he could improve 100 points or so.  If he's good enough to become a starter he'll improve a bit quicker. 
Most likely he'll only be able to reach his potential in a couple categories.
