i accepted a job in the big east.

regarding temple, i rebuilt this program and it's now at B+ prestige.   next season's roster will be above avg for a mid-major (should be def NT bound)   there will also be 4 recruiting openings w/ about $12k bonus (PG - Preston is returning).  additionally, the current group of a10 coaches are really cool. 

can someone please apply to it.  please don't let the sim engine ruin it.

oh yeah,  the Philadephia region is usually a mecca for recruiting.  plenty of local talent even w/ the latest recruit generator debacle.  you will have no probs with recruiting especially with the B+ prestige unless you get into battles with big east coaches.

No one is going to take them until their prestige is lower.

I'd be surprised if anyone took them with the Big East ready to draw a line from Toledo to DC and say, "Ours."

i agree but that's too bad since the sim will recruit junk.  by the time, the prestige is more attainable,all my recruits will have graduated and junk will be leftover.  at least if someone takes over temple now, a rebuild is not needed.

Exactly - if somebody was going to reach for a mid-major, they'd go to Marquette, with the same B+ prestige, with 2 likely 1st round picks ready to push that to A-.  And you aren't in the Big East's shadow.

However, I expect Marquette to go Sim, have simmy shoot way too high in recruiting, sign 3 scrubs and take 3 walkons and fade to obscurity.

Does school prestige improve with draft picks when a coach leaves?  i know when coaches move, the draft pick credit moves along with them. ...not sure if it stays with the original school.

temple will turn into a joke if no one takes it this season.  too many human coached d1 schools nearby that will take away any of their decent recruit targets.  same thing happened to manhatten and la salle just to name a few.  those once respectable programs were ruined.

the sim is already screwing up temple. why target a stud center so close to unc, duke, and wake? dumb.
