Job Openings in D3 Wooden's Best Conference Topic

Hi everyone,
We have a bunch of openings in Wooden D3's North Atlantic Conference.  We've been a top 4 conference every year for the last 10+ seasons and have had 3 of the last 4 national champions.  You'll get a great coaches corner and lots of extra recruiting money (we had 6 NT teams and 3 PIT teams this past season).
Here are the available jobs:
Lasell (A Prestige, 2 Open Scholarships, 3 Returning Starters, NT 2nd Round)- One of the best teams in Wooden D3 is set up for another run losing only 2 players off the #9 RPI team in the nation. We’d like a long term coach here if possible rather than another poacher. Odd class distro is a concern: (2-4-1-5)

Husson (C Prestige, 4 Open Scholarships, 1 Returning Starter, PIT 1st Round)- A rebuilding job. Husson was once a perennial title contender and one of the top teams in Wooden under Latz31 and his last class of recruits is out the door so some new blood is needed. Balanced rosters (4-2-3-3 class distro)

Becker (C- Prestige, 2 Open Scholarships, 3 Returning Starters, No Postseason)- Cav19 coached for 11 seasons at Becker and built some excellent teams with great talent that never could execute on the court. The pieces are in place for a solid run if a new coach wants a challenge. Balanced rosters (2-2-4-4 class distro).

Maine Presque Isle (C+ Prestige, 3 Open Scholarships, 3 Returning Starters, PIT 2nd Round)- SimAI coached last season but some talent in the cupboard left from merchant’s reign. Not a complete overhaul but a big job to make this a NT team. Very balanced rosters (3-4-2-3 class distro).

Salem St (C- Prestige, 2 Open Scholarships, 5 Returning Starters, No Postseason)- Solid team bringing back a lot of talent. The roster is heavy on rising Seniors and Juniors so they will be in the NT discussion in season 46. Non balanced roster though (2-5-4-1 class distro).

also 2 wooden d3 openings in the Upstate Collegiate Athletic Conference, the godfather conference of Wooden d3.

Chicago and Brandeis are both open, both in pretty good shape for next season. C+ prestige at both, 2 openings and a stocked cupboard at Brandeis, 3-4 openings and a good base to work with at Chicago (one season removed from a Sweet 16 run).

Little East also has two openings- Keene St and Umass Boston.

Wooden DIII Midwest conference also has some openings.  The Midwest has been a top four conference in Wooden since before the beginning of time; with several perennial powerhouses and some great coaches.  Our coaches corner is fun, helpful, and very active.  Come join us!

Openings at the following schools:
Monmouth: C prestige following a season where the previous long-time coach mysteriously disappeared.  The previous season Monmouth was in the NT championship game, and despite the ghost season, this team is primed for success.  3 schollies; press/triangle.

Ripon College: C prestige following several solid seasons of rebuild by an inexperienced coach who didn't have the patience to stick with it.  Could be a winner in short order.  5 schollies; zone/triangle.

Lawrence University: C- prestige and has been a Sim AI for two seasons in a row.  BUT Simmy has done a decent job here, and this team is not that far away from being good.  0 schollies; press/motion.

Rose Hulman: C- prestige, the perennial bottom sniffer of the conference.  The problem is that RHIT runs a press/break, and none of the recent coaches have recruited the right players for this combination.  1 schollie.

Xulapaul, Lawrence is a university, not a college.

I am more than willing to throw out the same offer to help a new coach in the NAC as much as possible.  I am reasonably good at recruiting (at least I think I am) and adambrag can help a lot with gameplanning strategy.

At the end of the day, anyone that takes a job in the NAC, Upstate or Midwest will be in for a tough couple of seasons to start but will get great support and will really learn the ropes from some excellent coaches.

Sorry to all of the Lawrence alumni out there - Lawrence University!

I am thinking I will probably try and take over one of these teams.....not sure which one yet though :)  Have had two teams, one of which I think I've built pretty well, the other I inherited a very very strong team, but neither of the conferences are very strong top to bottom beyone 1 or 2 other dedicated coaches...so I think that it would be a little more interesting to be in a top conference with more committed owners

Great news.  I dont think you can go wrong with any of the choices, but I hope you pick a team in the NAC!

I'm currently in IBA, but would be interested in perhaps taking over Lasell or Salem St.. Need help in game planning and recruiting skills, so your suggestion makes it real entertaining. Currently in D II and not really grasping match-ups and "sneaky underhanded" recruiting.

Gotta join the midwest for that info.

In the little East, UMD is now available after I moved to another in-conference team that I want to take a crack at rebuilding.  UMD has offensive tools available and can score, but needs defensive help.

You can sign up now, people. By the way, the two schools in the Upstate have never gone simmy before. Be a part of the Upstate's proud tradition!

Looks like the Midwest and NAC are still looking for teams.  Please feel free to sitemail me if you want a completely biased sales pitch to join the NAC!
