do you guys like to use doubleteams? or do you use them sparingly? I'm trying to figure out how often I need to be setting doubleteams

Unless something has changed with the new engine double teams are not effective.

I disagree.  I know it is a "forum fact" that DT don't work, but I have used them effectively in the zone defense for several years now (in both D1 and D3).

I find they are much less effective with M2M, but use them semi-frequently with zone (several games each season).

I usually DT if a guy gets twice the distro of anyone else.  I always use "if leading scorer" so it won't bite me if my opponent changes up the game plan.

I used DTs effectively in M2M last season to cover for a poor defender.  Always used 'if leading scorer'.
