Poison Pill League (4 in) Topic

I know longtallbrad was thinking about doing this but figured would give my verison!  Here's the deal you select one front court and one back court Posion Pill.   Of the 2 players one must be have at least 100% in either PG or SG and the other must have at least 100% in C or PF.  If your player has 100% in SF, he must have 100% in another position.  So if the 100% at SF has 100% at SG then the other player can only have 100% at PF or C.  Conversely if  the 100% SF has 100% at PF, then your next player can only have 100% at PG or SG. Must name the player/year and must have at least 2500 mins.  Once that player is chosen he cannot be chosen again.  Then we will do a random assigment of those players each owner receiving one back court player and one fron court player.  And these players must start and play their full minutes. That's the deal:

- $42m cap
- no ww, clones or rookies

"you select one front court and one back court Posion Pill.  If you choose 100% small forward then your other pick must be 100% at either PG, SG, PF or C."

these sentences contradict each other. edit: and aren't Larry Brown and Charlie Scott both backcourt players?

if this gets to 20, I'm in but I can't be bothered looking for guys til then

I'm in.  Glad you resurrected this eleibowitz.

One of my contributions is 74-75 George McGinnis.  He puts up points and rebounds, but he's expensive, and 5.3 topg and 3.8 fpg could be deadly given his 32 usg%.

The other is 75-76 Norm Van Lier, for his sub-40 efg%.

A question, though.  Will we each receive a small and a big, or is there a chance we could receive two starters who are only 100% at the same position?

Garyman it does seem a little contradictory and needs a little revising.  Of the2 players one must be have at least 100% in either PG or SG and the other must have at least 100% in C or PF.  If your player has 100% in SF, he must have 100% in another position.  So if the 100% at SF has 100% at SG then the other player can only have 100% at PF or C.  Conversely if  the 100% SF has 100% at PF, then your next player can only have 100% at PG or SG.  And your right about evil's picks I'll sitemail him

My picks

51-52 George Mikan- what can you say about him?  He's a born natural for this league 31.2% usage with 39.6% eFG, 4.3 TO48 and 5.3 FL48.  Plus he's 7.7m hit to the cap.

01-02 Allen Iverson- AI is going to need to Answer for these stats 38.1% usage with 42.2% eFG. 38.1% usage??? What is that about??LOL

I understand we each have to submit a small and a big...but will there be separate dispersements of the smalls and bigs?  In other words, we will receive one of each, or might we receive two of one and none of the other?
