Redshirting Soph and lineup questions Topic

Having some issues with my Knight team(Manchester).. http://www.whatifsports.com/hd/TeamProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=13470

Went to the Sweet 16 last year with a magical run through the conf tourney and as a 15 seed and return the entire team but  I now add a guy I was redshirting last year and I'm thinking of redshirting a sophomore.  The player in question is Eugene George who had a 73 work ethic and went up 7 in rebounding during the offseason making him far and away my best rebounder/lp ratings wise at least.  His work ethic went down 29 when I put the redshirt on him so I'm thinking of taking it off.  Without him in the lineup, I would slide Bibb to the 4 and Hine to the 5(they played the 3/4 last year) and put Earls in at the 3 with Malpass backing him up(who is high in about everything).   If I took the redshirt off I would put Bibb back to the 3, Hine to the 4, and George would be getting minutes off the bench at the 4 and the 5.  Thanks

Also could I possibly take the redshirt off and put it back on and maybe the work ethic won't drop as much?

I would keep it on. A 44 WE really isn't bad at all. If you took it off and tried again he'd likely drop down to 1.

is there any risk that he would leave at the end of the season?

Nope. I often do it. On my guard on caldwell that took the redshirt last season he dropped like 20 points, but still to an acceptable level. I'd take a 40 WE and 5 seasons over 60 and just 4. Its when it drops under 25 that it becomes an issue, and 4 seasons at 50 is better then 5 at 25.
