what constitutes a 'good' rating in DIII? Topic

Doing some scouting for the recruiting cycle thats about to begin in Knight as well as the next cycle for Tark, and I'm a little bit frustrated that I can't seem to find what I'm looking for., so I'm thinking maybe my sights are set too high.

I know WE is very important and was told not to dip below mid 30's on that.

A significant amount of the players that I'm targeting(I'm not targeting the top tier guys because of my low prestige) have defensive ratings in the single digits. Or Ath ratings less than 15, etc.

For a DIII C, what would you consider a 'good' rating for speed and ath? What about for a guard?

I'd say at least 30 ath, and whatever speed for a big. The guard depends on potential. I like them to have at least high in ath or speed, but perferably speed. I'd take starting core of like 20 ath/40 speed as long as they have potential.

I guess I would focus on what they will be as juniors/seniors.  So 50-60 would be good, 60-70 very good 40-50 is ok if they are good in other areas.

THen for division two and one woudl you probably, in your mind, add ten and twenty to each of those categories respectively?

For d2 50 - 60, 60 - 70, 70 - 80, for dI 60 - 70, 70 - 80, 80 - 90?

are those numbers for speed and ath? so in DIII a good junior/senior rating for speed and ath would be 50/60, etc?
