ok- I just recently re-installed firefox to fix this, and it is doing it again. any computer types that can help me out, I'd appreciate it...

While recruiting, I had clicked the recruit's name, opening his little personal window in the upper middle of my screen, as you do...
Firefox froze up and crashed. Now, when I go back to the recruiting page and click the kid's name, his personal window opens full-screen. This now happens for every recruit, at multiple schools. It is a pain in the ***. When I click a kid's name from other pages (like the front office screen or the roster page) it opens as it should - it is just the pages that I open with from recruiting... How do I make it so it just opens with the little window that is not maximized, preferably without having to reload all my add-ons and bookmarks again...

It does it with boxscores too, doesn't it.

Tools > Options > Tabs - Uncheck "Open new windows in a new tab instead"

However, this will probably affect your non WIS browsing too.

I have this problem on my desktop, but not my laptop, strangely.  Next time I'm at the laptop I'll see if I can spot the difference.  Hope this helps in the meantime.

sounds odd but check if your computer needs its drivers updated...........find the style of the computer usually on the front of computer and google driver updates.....................easier solution is to google an older version of firefox like 3.1 and download it and then go to add/remove program delete current firefox...BUT when the window asks about deleting personal info from firefox DO NOT delete that.......install the older version and then go to tools, options and then updates and turn off the automatic update feature on firefox.

ok - game results started doing the same damn thing for no reason. so, chrome it is. bye firefox...

for what it's worth, i like Chrome but it actually crashes (for me) a lot more than Firefox.

I had the same issue and fixed it by doing the following....

1) In the address bar type (without quotes) "about:config" 
2) In the Preference Name column find 'browser.link.open_newwindow.restriction' and change the value to '2'.

Firefox is worth using for AdBlock Plus alone.

I checked , and this is the value - of course I previously reinstalled Firefox...the recruits open in a properly sized tab now, but game results open full screen...it is the only thing that is still broken, so I just learn to live with it...
