3 pitchers all throw L, the first 2 are 18 yo and the third is 21... who would you draft?

1, 2, 3. They're quite good, and close enough to each other in quality that I'd order them by the number of IP I can get from them.

However, this assumes the projections are good. What are your COL and HS budgets?

All else being equal, I'd be tempted to go 3,1,2 with the knowledge that 3 is probably going to end up as a 2-3 inning closer as opposed to a starter. But he'd allow me to do some different things with the bullpen, and take some chances with lower stamia starters.

#3 is, to me, clearly the most dominant pitcher but with 13 durability he won't give you nearly as many starts as you'd like (as s_gammon said, maybe more suited to reliever/spot starter). #2 is less skilled and has similar problems as #3; he also has lower health. However, his stamina is so high that you could give him the same pitch count you'd give to a guy with, say, 75 stamina and he would stay fresh enough that he could probably pitch every 5th day. He also lacks a great pitch which would prevent him from being truly elite. #1 is, in my mind, the least skilled of the three, but is still a very high-quality pitcher (probably at least a few All-Star appearances if not Cy Youngs) and is so much more durable he could easily fit into a 4-man rotation.

I'd probably narrowly go 1, 2, 3.

In case the pitches for #2 are really scaring you away, I should point out a pitcher of mine, Ebenezer Brett, who has similar pitches (with worse skill ratings) but has made quite a career for himself.

I spent 16 HS and 17 College. I'm torn as well. Player 3 is ridiculously good but the durability scares me and I wouldn't use him as a closer and wouldn't want to draft a closer this high.

Here is my closer in waiting that I acquired via trade this year..

Stm   Ctrl   vL   vR   Vel   Gnd   P1   P2   P3   P4   Dur   Hlth   Mkp
21 77 97 98 93 39 94 68     69 93 87

Thanks for the input and the example with Ebenezer Brett, he is very comparable with his pitches and like you said has had a very nice career.

So let me know throw these two position players in as well. Overall they may be rated higher than the pitchers but with the caliber of pitching what would you draft. One of the hitters or one of the pitchers?

Since none of the three pitchers are a totally dominant workhorse #1 starter, I think I would go with the first position player as #1. A guy who can play GG CF and hit is a rare commodity. The major detractor is the 42 Makeup which would cause me to closely examine where he is currently compared to the projections before finalizing the decision as low makeup could hinder his ability to reach the projected numbers.
