Just my opinion, but at this point, there is absolutely no way I would have Carter starting in place of Robbins OR Lewis. By the end of the season, sure, I guess. But right now, nope. He might have slightly better ratings, but to me, the difference in IQ's far outweighs the slight ratings advantage. But hey, that's just me. Skunk's been successful himself, so he knows what he's doing, but I personally just value IQ alot. Ultimately it's your team and your call, but as you can see there are lots of different ways to run a team and have success.
Oh, and double teams, they rarely work anymore. Every time I see one of my guys doubled in the PBP, my eyes light up because I'm almost sure I'm gonna win then and probably do about 95% of the time when I face one.
i thought DT was dead too, dc. but recently OR has been using it on me and while his team may have been a little more talented than mine this year, the Dt seemed to increase his margin of victory and also he sweep me all three games and i would have thought my squad was good enough to take one of three from him. and none of the games was even close. so, clearly, it worked
the weird thing is, i cant even figure out what he is doing. i have three really good scorers (17, 17 and 13 ppg===C,SF,SG), (plus a couple more decent ones) and it seems that he switches up who is being DT'ed as the game goes along. maybe he is using DTifleadingscorer on all three? it just feels like im not given enough info to tell what the heck he is doing. most of the time when i do see that a player is being DT'ed, he gets around it and scores. but there doesnt seem to be much info on the situattions where the DT's are effective (which, givent he final outcome must be quite often)
anyways, just wanted to share that. if it wasnt OR i wouldnt even give it a second thought. the first game i saw it i thought he was triyng to lose to me on purpose. but it seems there must be a method to his madness.
