We've long been wanting to flush out the news component of the game.  It's just never gotten high enough on the priority list.

It's one of those things that you won't hear a lot of call for but many people will enjoy once it happens. 

Cue the hardcore crowd telling me I should be more concerned about getting the engine right, blah, blah, blah.  I'm more interested in having a submersive experience than a perfect engine.
