From the point of view of the SEC, it was probably the right move to open up South Carolina.  5 straight losing seasons isn't acceptable in the SEC any more.  Hopefully someone will want the job.  Its a tough spot, but tons of close in recruits....just landing them is the problem.

I think maxmet is saved by the B- baseline and the relatively ok RPIs (top half of D1 anyway)

Either new coaches or (more likely) the jobs period, which starts tonight at midnight.  From what little I've seen before, you'd be best off going for a nice DII job - Alaska Fairbanks is both open and in a killer conference, for instance - but to get the best DII jobs, you'd of course have to wait a bit.

You were right, I looked after midnight and sure enough....Jobs were there.

I got fired from Purdue, and oddly I am a longshot to get my job back, not "Not Qualified".

I applied just to check...Would love to hear the stink if I get my job back!!

I thought for sure I would be fired - but expectations must be darn low at Baylor - and we have delivered consistently strong mediocre RPIs....with just one player leaving we are poised for a surge to PIT!
