What would you use this guy as: Set Up A or Closer?

I can't tell, is that a 93 durability? Ton of innings at setup a if it is. Might be better.

Dont use a closer, just use a handful of Setup As

Set guys as Set Up A, and play with the inning that they are available.  Saves headaches when Sparky doesn't put the guy you want in.

The biggest benefit is not wasting innings.  The more innings in general you can get from the better pitchers, the more you'll win.

I have to admit, I'm not a closer believer to begin with.  It's the only position in baseball that's created and used on the basis of a statistic.

When you're up 3 runs, why waste innings using an elite pitcher?  On the other hand, if you need the elite pitcher in the 6th, why save him to potentially "close" a game when you can use him to stop the biggest threat in the game.

No question, I'd use your guy as setup A with as high a pitch count as you can to get max inning out of him.

Using the roles of Closer A, Closer B, Setup A, and Setup B is just your way of telling Sparky how you rank your short relievers.  Just make them all available in the 6th or 7th and you can still benefit from having your relievers ranked how you want them while getting more innings out of your best relievers.  And make sure you uncheck the box in Manager Settings that says something like, "Only use closers in save situations".
