How dominant will this guy be? Topic

This is my Soph Center in D3 Phelan. I was surprised to see the rollover boost his Reb from 89 to 94, and it looks like he's gonna probably be 97-99 with some more practice. SB also boosted from 93 to 96, LP from 58 to 63 (and it grew 18 pts his FR season). I know ath/spd kinda low, but this guy should be one of the top C in D3 by his SR year?

I've has a few guys that had similar reb/lp and better ath/spd/bh/pas.  You're looking a very good, not great, player.

For comparison, here's a guy I have right now:

As you can see, he dwarfs your guy in ath/lp and has better bh, and while he's very good, even he doesn't put up AA stats.  To be honest, though, his distro is lower than it should be, but still.

Although, to be fair, I have a 63 ath/80 reb/67 lp guy averaging 7.8 PPG / 8.2 RPG, so who knows?

I thought this guy would avg at least 10 reb a game with his reb skill if I can get his stamina around 90. Looks like it's not happening.

You never know.  I think his ath is a little low, and ath seems to count for a little more than it should in the new engine, but a lot of it depends on your opponents, their rebounding ability, your team's defense, and if you have anyone else on your team to steal his rebound.

I have three guys on my team who see significant time with reb ratings of 80+.  I've also played an interesting mix of very good and very bad teams, so he is matched up with great players in some games and then sits most of the second half in others.

I wouldn't worry too much about it, I think he will be a very good player, and often the best rebounder on the floor.  I just wouldn't expect 10 rpg, but it could certainly happen.

He will be a AWESOME defensive rebounder, but a so so offensive rebounder in my opinion.  Really depends on how many shots your opponents miss then.

I would expect 7.5-8 RPG with that athleticism.  Anything better than that is gravy.

I'm with dahs. I have a guy on my Santa Cruz team who is similar to this guy but has better ath/sp (43/25) and he gets just over 8 rebounds a game.

Reinsel, do you think there is that much of a difference in what goes into off reb vs. what does into def reb? I don't believe that to be the case.

Should be a very good player, but I think the low Ath will keep him from superstar status. If your team defense forces lots of missed shots he might be 9+ rebounder , but 7.5-8.5 seems more likely.
