I believe that it is a pretty minimal boost just like the preferred distance.

Minimal bump...would be cool if it actually mattered, but it is yet one grain in the hourglass of recruiting!

It's almost like sticking your hand into a bucket of water. The size of the hole you leave when you pull your hand out is about the same as the effect of childhood favorite.
