Seble, I don't like potential, but if you are going to have it, may I suggest making another practice category--film or something that a kid could do.  I just received an email saying a kid has limited upside in all twelve categories.  Very unrealistic to not have that kid doing something that really isn't productive in the first place, but if you insist on it, why not have an ability to increase IQ by watching film independent of his teammates.  Obvioiusly film sessions are a big part of the game these days.  IQ is not a physical skill and really has no cap.

That's a great idea.

Based on the suggestions, said player is down to less than 90 minutes of practice time from his allotment of 130.  What a life.

I like this idea as well.

If you want to keep team practice more important (and I would agree you should) make the film study less effective than the same amount of time practicing as a team, but give it something.

Although, as I think about it a bit more, I do wonder whether IQ *should* have a cap (even as things stand currently). Should there not be some players that just never quite *get it* - the idea that everyone can get to the same A+ understanding of an offense or defense if they just tried enough or spent enough time isn't particularly reflective of the different mental abilities players have in real life.
