You can't bid more than you have in your budget I don't think. What happens is you can bid on 3 coaches for each opening. So in other words you might have a 10 million dollar budget and have 25 million in bids. But if your highest priced coach for each open position signs it should be 10 million or less.

Now if you already knew this and were still allowed to overbid the 10 million, then that is something i was unaware of as well.
