Since I need 25-30 minor leaguers, I invited a couple of old guys to ST thinking that if they perform any where near their ratings I would sign them to AAA contracts. They show up in the "needing assignment" area. So stupid me, I assign the first one (could only assign him to ML) thinking it would be some sort of temp arrangement. He ends up with a 327 grand contract and on my 40. The  other one is still "needing assignment" but shows on my ST squad as an invite but there is no button to remove  him. Someone please give me ST INVITE 101. Thanks

You can waive the first guy, and if he clears, you can demote him.  That's the only way you'll be able to get both of them to the minors.

I've already waived the guy but still paying him minimum wage. What about the 2nd guy. Will I eventually have to assign him too? If you have to put them on your roster I guess my question is why do they call it invite only?

oops, too quick on the button. I was also going to see how they perform. What if they suck rotten eggs, now I'm stuck with them any way. I guess if that is the case, I must say "Invite Only" my butt. (can't say ***)
