If anyone has some time I would be interested in hearing your opinion on how you would gameplan my game today against MSUB.  It is a sim coached team.  I am not sure on how I should gameplan ie Uptempo, Normal or Slowdown I run the motion.  On D how would you position, and would you doubleteam anyone.   Never asked before but I think it would be a good learning experience if I could get some input from you guys.  I also have trouble when i choose to play Weiberg his lack of ball handling is a issue i think.  Anyway thanks for reading...Would be curious to see how you would set depth chart as well..

Versus SIM, I usually do normal tempo unless they're much better (slow tempo) than my team.   I never double team

Depth:
PG-  Barnes    Combs
SG- Elder     Combs
SF- Lillibright  Wieberg
PF/C-  Gore and Leblanc in some order, backup up by Schoenstein and Kuhlman

Well we lost by 1 pt  on a shot with no time left on the clock......We had the lead and the ball with 30 seconds left and the engine adjusted to hold ball and yet my small foward steps out of bounds with 14 seconds left.  You would think that after a time out, with your team in the lead and the ball knowing the other team has to foul (or game over) you would think the engine would put in your 4 best ballhandlers and foul shooters to play out the game  I had my 2 3rd and 5th best ballhandlers on the bench...yet no player adjustment is ever made....perhaps the programers can work on that...The engine also deceided to ignore my depth chart for sg and never play my second player at that postion and let the player listed 3 on the chart 16 min.  Of course since he was 3rd on the chart his distribution was only at 3 and had 2 shots the whole game....

Your backup SG never played??? If you followed my suggestion and had Combs backing up at both PG and SG, he may have played PG the entire game. It probably depends on the fatigue, etc. of your starters.  In that case, the 3rd player would take over at SG

Yes i had combs as a back up for both and all he played was pg and the sim took my 3 on depth chart taylor and made him play 16 min.

It's because your starting PG has a 65 stamina. So Combs was needed to play PG most of the time. You only have 4 guards, one starter with 65 stamina, your 4th guard getting 16 minutes is reasonable.

Also, you say that Combs never played SG, that is not true. They only show the lineup at a few points of the game. But, look at the 15:47 mark of the first half (in the game against MSUB that you are talking about). Barnes came into the game and Combs stayed in, which means he switched over from PG to SG at that time. I am sure there are many other times like that
