Which guy should play where? Topic

Hey guys, I was hoping to get some input about where to play two guys on my team for the upcoming season. They were both recruited as centers, but last year I had one of them at C and the other at PF. It seemed to work out well, but both of my starting guards graduated this offseason so more of my focus is going to be on the inside game this year and I want to maximize my effectiveness there. Any advice about where each guy should play would be most helpful (Correa was the C last year and Vazquez was the PF):

Alberto Correa

Athleticism 66

Speed 9

Rebounding 88

Defense 76

Shot Blocking 77

Low-post 84

Perimeter 1

Ball Handling 1

Passing 4

Work Ethic 45

Stamina 74

Durability 59

FT Shooting C

Alonzo Vazquez

Athleticism 59

Speed 23

Rebounding 81

Defense 47

Shot Blocking 82

Low-post 90

Perimeter 32

Ball Handling 9

Passing 3

Work Ethic 53

Stamina 68

Durability 65

FT Shooting C+

Thanks in advance for any advice!

I think it is pretty clear you had it right last year.  Vazquez has some speed and perimeter which will make him more effective as a PF.

Yeah, that's what I figured too. Really my concern was that Vazquez has fairly mediocre defense, which I am afraid might hurt him more as a forward than as a center... but unless anyone else thinks otherwise, maybe this is the best configuration.

That depends on what defense you play.  If you play zone, don't worry about it.  If you play man, you might consider switching if the opposition has a particularly high distro PF, but I would be careful about that if the other PF was fast.  If you are playing press, maybe someone who is more of a press guru should weigh in, but I would stick with the speed at PF in the press.
