Last Season i do like 15 booster gifts and get investigated, put on probation, banned from postseason, lose scholarships.

This year, I do over 200 booster gifts and I don't get anything?

Because there is no rhyme or reason to it. A few seasons ago I got busted for giving 1 booster gift to a recruit. The kid accepted the gift but ended up signing elsewhere however I still get put on probabtion. That same recruiting season a friend of mine at another BCS school gave out a total of 3 booster gifts, 1 of which was not even accepted, yet he was never investigated.

You sent those gifts from Atlanta and I got put on probation! That's why, thanks alot!


Maybe they already plan on firing you and don't want to leave the program a wreck for the next guy...oh wait, you already made it a wreck...so MORE of a wreck for the next guy! :)

They are going to have to find a pair of Lane Kiffins to take over when we are done!

why did tanner kill Duke in Knight?

I once gave out about 20 gifts to recruits that took them all. I never got investigated........that season. But next season, I did get investigated and was banned from the post season. Really sucked because I had the #1 team at that time.

Look at any real life DI school in college basketball and/or football and you will get your answer

LOL I was dismissed by Georgia Tech for "improper behavior" (one booster gift), while Tanner's still at Duke.  Awesome :)

I guess "proper behavior" would have been 200 booster gifts? :0

Not only that but i went 0-27 and didnt get fired.

anything that results in an 0-27 record for Duke can't be a bad thing...
